Ham & Cheese Sliders

These sweet Hawaiian rolls are filled with ham and Swiss cheese and brushed with a buttery dijon topping! It's a fast and simple dinner or a great addition to any party!

Ingredients:

  • 1-12 count package of Hawaiian Sweet Rolls

  • 12-15 slices of ham

  • 6-8 slices of Swiss or Cheddar Cheese

  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) salted butter

  • 1 Tbsp dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp poppy seeds

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a 9x13 pan with aluminum foil.

  2. Without pulling apart the individual rolls, use a serrated knife to cut the rectangle of bread into a top and bottom slab. Place the bottom piece on the pan.

  3. Spread out your slices of ham on top of the bottom piece of bread. I like to fold each piece in half and line them up into two rows.

  4. Evenly layer the Swiss cheese and then place the top piece of bread on top.

  5. Heat the butter in the microwave until fully melted and then stir in the remaining ingredients.

  6. Gently pour the butter mixture on top. It's okay if some of it falls on to the sides, but try to keep as much on top as possible. I like to use a pastry brush to gently spread out the butter mixture evenly.

  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for 5-10 minutes to let the tops get crispy.

  8. Slice into individual sliders and serve immediately! They will be gone very quickly!

Notes:

  • This recipe makes 12 sliders.

  • I like to serve this with a side salad or some corn on the cob.
